Practice rug tufting at the Bumi & Ashe Studio, conveniently located at Apitong Street, Lahug, Cebu City.
What is included in Rug Tufting Studio Use?
- 3 hour practice - from Mondays to Sundays (10am-1pm or 3pm-6pm)
- 1 pc 20x20 inches canvas that you can attach yourself
- 1 pc fulfillment kit, including anti-slip backing
- Unlimited choices of yarn colors
- Unlimited glue
- Freely use rug making tools from threaders, spatula, tufting gun, tufting frame, shavers, and trimming scissors
- Rent of projector to help you draw your design on the canvas
More information about the studio:
- You can enjoy a wide and comfortable space with a dedicated desk for you to practice rug tufting.
- Parking is available outside J. Block Building.
Terms & Conditions:
- Rug Tufting is super fun, but you will be exposed to machines and sharp tools. That's why, for your safety, we only allow studio use for anyone who has experience with rug tufting before. If you have done a workshop with us, or any other studio. You are very welcome! :)
- Must have taken a class in any rug studio within the year. Kindly send us a photo of the rug you made.

Incomplete works after the 3-hour studio use must be brought home.
- Rug packaging is not allocated, please bring your own.

FAQs
Why are pottery classes expensive?
We are a small independent business with a mission to make pottery accessible especially in the Philippines. Unfortunately, equipment and goods such as clay are not readily available here. Clay is imported from the US, Japan and thailand. Our wheels and kiln are top of the line which range from 60k to 500k in cost per wheel/kiln. We appreciate your support and we hope to continue to make prices accessible as we our community grows in Cebu.
Can kids do this class?
- For wheel classes, we recommend kids 8 years old and above or minimum 4 feet tall
- For handbuilding classes, there is no age requirement
- Children have a different price. Please go to this link to book
Do you accept walk ins?
At the moment we request that you reserve beforehand by booking on the website so we have enough time to prepare your materials :)
What is your refund policy?
We do not issue refunds but we do understand that sometimes things can go wrong. If you are sick or unable to make your scheduled appointment, please send us a message on Instagram and we will be happy to give you 1 reschedule.
Can I book another date?

Can I partially pay to reserve?
We require full payment upon booking. We accept BPI, BDO, Maya, Gcash and Major credit cards online.
